Land of Promise/Holy Land/ Promised Land:-
The land that was promised by God to the decendants of Isaac, the land of
Israel (Canaan).
The expressions Promised Land or Land of Promise (al Arth al Mow'ouda or Arth al Mi'ad) do not appear in such a manner in the Quran.
In the Quran this land is mentioned in:
5:21 'O my people! enter the holy land [Al Artha al Muqadassa] which Allah hath assigned [Allah had written/kataba Allah lakum] unto you and turn not back ignominiously for then will ye be overthrown to your own ruin.
*** Muqadassa/ Holy is from the Hebrew (Qadesh) and is not Arabic in origin since they used the term Muharrama/Forbidden.
The ACTUAL English/ Arabic translation should have been [Allah had written for you/kataba Allah lakum]
This verse is extremely important since it verifies and confirms the claim of the Jews to the land of Israel***
5: 22 "They said: "O Moses! in this (land) are a people of exceeding strength: never shall we enter it until they leave it: if (once) they leave then shall we enter." 23(But) among (their) Allah-fearing men were two on whom Allah had bestowed His Grace: they said: "Assault them at the (proper) gate: when once ye are in, victory will be yours. But on Allah put your trust if ye have faith." 24They said: O "Moses! while they remain there never shall we be able to enter to the end of time. Go thou and thy Lord and fight ye two while we sit here (and watch)." 25 He said: "O my Lord! I have power only over myself and my bother so separate us from this rebellious people!" 26 Allah said: "Therefore will (the land) be out of their reach for forty years; in distraction will they wander through the land: but sorrow thou not over these rebellious people."
*** All the verses of this Sura are not found in the Bible as depicted in the Quran. They are all from Muhammad's own fertile but erroneous IMAGINATION ***
7:137 And We made a people considered weak (and of no account) inheritors of lands [al arth] in both east and west lands whereon We sent down our blessings. The fair promise of the Lord was fulfilled for the children of Israel because they had patience and constancy and We levelled to the ground the great works and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride).
*** "both east and west lands" represent BOTH sides of the river Jordan, just like in the Bible ***
10:93 We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms. Verily Allah will judge between them as to the schisms amongst them on the Day of Judgment.
17: 104 "And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel "Dwell securely in the land : [uskunoo^l Ardtha] but when the second of the warnings came to pass We gathered you together in a mingled crowd.
24: 55 "Allah has promised to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds that He will of a surety grant them in the land inheritance [ la-yastakhlifannahum fi^l ardthi] (of power) as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state) after the fear in which they (lived) to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me.' If any do reject faith after this they are rebellious and wicked."
30:6 (It is) the promise of Allah. Never does Allah depart from His promise: but most men understand not.
*** Since Allah - "Never does Allah depart from His promise" - then the claim by the Arabs and the followers of Muhammad to the land of Israel is
NULL & VOID ***
Genesis 17:1. And when Abram was ninety nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be perfect.2. And I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.3. And Abram fell on his face; and God talked with him, saying,4. As for me, behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.5. Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made you.6. And I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come out of you.
7. And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you, and to your seed after you.8. And I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
9. And God said to Abraham, You shall keep my covenant therefore, you, and your seed after you in their generations.10. This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your seed after you; Every male child among you shall be circumcised.11. And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you.12. And he who is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male child in your generations, he who is born in the house, or bought with money from any stranger, who is not of your seed…… 20. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you; Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he father, and I will make him a great nation.
21. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time in the next year"
*** Since the alleged Arab 'traditions' are derived entirely from the Bible
- the pagan Arabs having had no knowledge of the Biblical events before Muhammad's Quran - then they should accept the crystal clear fact, that the Land of Promise was for the Israelites only, just as the Quran itself also asserts.
All their 'theological', historical and political contortions cannot, should not and must not be allowed to succeed ***
